This policy covers mitchellmillmotors.com, the website for Mitchell Mill Motors at 3421 Forestville Rd, Raleigh, NC 27616. It explains what the site collects, why, and who else touches it. It does not cover what happens on paper in the office, or on a third party's own site once you leave ours.

What we collect

Things you type into a form

Nothing on this site asks you to make an account, and nothing asks for money. The only information we get is what you choose to put in a form. Depending on which one you use, that can include:

• Your name, phone number, and email address — on every form, so we can answer you.
• Vehicle details — year, make, model, mileage, condition, VIN or stock number, and any notes you add, on the vehicle inquiry, trade-in, and CarFinder forms.
• Service details — what the vehicle is doing and when you'd like to bring it in, on the service forms.
• Business details — company name, fleet size, vehicle types, and budget, on the fleet inquiry form.
• Whatever else you write — the message and notes boxes are free text, so they contain exactly what you put in them.

We do not ask for a Social Security number, a date of birth, a driver's license number, or bank or card details anywhere on this website. The financing page is a request to have someone contact you, not a credit application, and we do not run credit without your okay. If you ever see a page on this site asking for those, it isn't ours.

Things your browser tells us

Like any website, ours sits behind a host that logs standard request information — IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, and the time. That is ordinary server operation and security, not a marketing profile.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies of its own and stores nothing in your browser. The only cookies here come from Google Analytics (GA4), which we use to see how many people visit, which vehicles and service pages get looked at, and which buttons get tapped. We track things like a phone number being clicked, a photo gallery being opened, and a form being submitted.

That is counting, not identifying. Google Analytics tells us that a certain number of people looked at a truck on Tuesday. It does not tell us who you are, and we never send your name, email, or phone number into it.

Analytics only runs on the live site at mitchellmillmotors.com and www.mitchellmillmotors.com. Preview and development copies of the site load no analytics at all.

If you'd rather not be counted, you have a few options: turn on your browser's tracking protection, use Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or use any ad blocker. Our site is built to work normally either way — blocking analytics breaks nothing.

Who else sees your information

We keep this list short on purpose, and it is the complete list of third parties this website loads or hands data to:

• Netlify hosts the site and receives every form submission before emailing it to us.
• Google Analytics receives the anonymous usage measurements described above.
• Google Fonts serves the typefaces on this page.
• Google Maps powers the map embed on our Visit page.
• AutoOps powers the online service scheduler. If you book an appointment through it, the details you enter there go to AutoOps and to us.
• DealerCarSearch is our inventory system and the source of the vehicle photos on this site.
• CARFAX receives nothing from us, but if you click a CARFAX report link you are on their site under their policy.

Each of these has its own privacy policy covering what it does on its end.

How we use it

To answer you. A form submission goes to the person here who can actually help with it — sales inquiries to the owners, service requests to the service manager, fleet inquiries to the fleet contact. We use it to reply, to price a trade, to find a vehicle you asked for, or to book work on your vehicle.

By sending a form you're agreeing to be contacted about that request. That's it — submitting one form does not sign you up for a mailing list.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your information. Not to lead brokers, not to anyone.
• We don't rent or trade your contact details for marketing.
• We don't run advertising or retargeting pixels on this site.
• We don't build advertising profiles or share your information with data brokers.

Calls and texts

Our main line, (919) 266-9333, takes calls and texts. If you text us, your carrier handles the message and standard message and data rates apply. If you give us a number on a form, we may call or text you back about that request. Reply STOP to any text and we'll stop.

How long we keep it

Form submissions arrive as email and stay in our inboxes and customer records as long as we need them for the business reason you sent them — a trade quote, a repair order, a fleet account. Analytics data is retained by Google under our account settings. If you want us to delete what we have on you, ask, and we will.

Your choices

You can ask us what we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email allen@mitchellmillmotors.com or call (919) 266-9333 and we'll take care of it. There's no form and no fee. If a law in your state gives you rights beyond that, we'll honor those too.

Children

This site is for people shopping for a vehicle or service, and it isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child sent us something, let us know and we'll delete it.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and locked down with standard security headers so your form data is encrypted in transit. No website can promise perfect security, but we don't collect financial or identity documents here, which is the best protection there is.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site collects or uses information, we'll update this page and the date at the top. We won't quietly start doing something this page says we don't do.
